We’re dreamers, but it means we keep thinking up crazy ideas that you haven’t seen before.
We make games for mobile, because we want you to take the magic that is Thoopid everywhere you go.
Because we love what we do and we want you to love it just as much.
Thoopid ©, founded in 2013 by avid gamers with award winning experience in design, development, digital marketing and emerging media. We are based in Cape Town – nowhere better, right? But determined to spread our goodness around the globe. Essentially we are a mobile gaming company, but when we are merchandising toys and socks we’ll know that we’ve hit it big.
Why’d we call ourselves something as stupid as Thoopid ©? Well. when you try to say our name you sound stupid, so we’re already one up on you. It’s all about gaming, right?

So you’ve got a local developer with an incredibly good looking and fun game that is available right now for iOS devices and with an Android version under development. Could it get any better than that?
We of course wanted home field support pushing our epic hero into the mobile world, but we quickly learnt that the South African App Store was unlike the rest.
