SNAILBOY AMPED UP FOR YOUR GAMING PLEASURE

Things are buzzing around the small office of Thoopid with the release of our highly anticipated first game, Snailboy- An Epic Adventure. Since Snailboy has  debuted in the App Store, Thoopid has decided that we should share a few of the changes we made before we released Snailboy.

 

A Whole New Outlook on Life

In our initial phases of development, Snailboy was invincible. Now don’t get us wrong, if he slinged into spikey plants he became a snail angel and you had to restart the level, but you never ran out of lives. You could continue playing until your heart’s content.

We chose to add lives to increase the difficulty and require you as the gamer to tailor your strategy to complete the game. The days of endlessly slapping into spikey plants has come to an end. If your lives come to end, you must wait fifteen minutes to get 5 free lives or you can buy more lives with your free collected slimeys, which brings me to my second point.

 

CASH IN YOUR SLIMIES

Sure it’s cool to go around slapping up slimeys. But a gamer reaches a point in their life where they want to cash in those slimeys for something bigger. Thoopid felt the same; so we made slimeys a virtual currency and added a shop where you can enable ultimate slinging acrobatics and get skins…

 

ADD SOME SLIME TO YOUR WARDROBE

Snailboy’s good looking. We all know this. But everyone has to have a little style in his or her wardrobe.  So our Thoopid design geniuses created Snailboy a killer selection of perfectly fit Skins to allow Snailboy to slap, slide and sling in style.

In conclusion, to all indie developers, if you think you have done all there is to do for you game and you are ready to launch, just consider there may be more!
